In this blog, I want to provide an honest klook review & share my own experience using the site to book all our theme parks and activities for our upcoming Japan trip. Also keep in mind that we had 19 people in our group, so our numbers alone were abit of a challenge.

Planning a trip to any country can be an exhilarating experience, especially if you are travelling to a country where not everyone can speak or understand the English language. Leading up to our Japan trip I had watched many Japan travel YouTube videos and one of the main travel tips people were advising, was to book your theme park tickets prior to arriving to Japan, as the tickets can sell out quickly. With our large group number, I knew that I had to book all our tickets asap.

Our group had decided on the following itinerary for our Japan trip: Tokyo we would go to DisneySea, Disneyland, Street Karting & TeamLab Planets. When in Osaka we would go to Universal Studios and purchase the Express Pass to ensure we could enter Super Nintendo World, and Round 1.

Trying to book tickets directly

I went directly to the official website for Disneyland Tokyo and it was pretty straight forward however everything is priced in YEN and not AUD, and I could only purchase 5 tickets at a time. I figured by the time I would purchase tickets for our group for Disneyland Tokyo & then having to do it all again for DisneySea, I would be charged a good amount of fees from my bank as I would be purchasing the tickets in YEN. I also went to the official website for Universal Studios Japan and same issue, I would be charged in YEN and I could only book 4 tickets at a time. Now I understand that when booking theme park tickets for another country, that you would be paying the amount in that country’s currency but I wasn’t expecting the max amount tickets you can purchase at one time to be so low. I also did look at group bookings for Disneyland Tokyo, DisneySea and Universal Studios but it meant that I would have to submit a form and wait to be contacted.

Thankfully, I stumbled upon Klook, an online platform that made booking tickets a breeze.

I don’t usually book tickets on third party sites as its usually just me and my husband travelling but after my experience with using klook for our Japan trip, I have been using them for our all our other travels and will continue to use them for our future travels. User-Friendly Interface and Booking Process:

One of the standout features of Klook is its user-friendly interface. Upon visiting their website, I was greeted by a clean and well-organized layout, making it easy to find and select attractions I desired. The navigation menu was intuitive, allowing me to browse through various categories, such as theme parks, museums, and cultural experiences. The booking process on Klook was incredibly simple. Each attraction had its own dedicated page with detailed information, including opening hours, location, and reviews from previous visitors. After selecting my preferred date and time, I proceeded to the secure checkout process, which was quick and hassle-free.

English Language Support:

As a non-Japanese speaker, one of my concerns was the language barrier when it came to purchasing tickets in Japan. Klook's English language support alleviated this worry entirely. All information provided on the website, including attraction descriptions, ticket details, and terms and conditions, were conveniently available in English. This made it easy for me to understand what each ticket included, ensuring that I made well-informed choices. This was extremely helpful when booking the Express Passes for Universal Japan as they have many types of Express Passes to choose from and klook made it easy for me to pick the right pass for our group.

Prompt Confirmation and E-Ticket Delivery:

After completing my purchase on Klook, I received an instant confirmation via email. Along with this confirmation, I also received e-tickets for each attraction I had booked. These e-tickets could be conveniently stored on my mobile device, eliminating the need for physical copies or printing. With the e-tickets readily accessible on my smartphone, entry to the attractions was a breeze, saving me valuable time and effort. Also do note that for Disneyland Tokyo, they do not accept print out tickets.

Competitive Pricing and Exclusive Deals:

Not only does Klook offer a seamless booking experience, but they also provide competitive pricing for theme park and attraction tickets. During my search, I discovered that Klook often offered exclusive deals, allowing me to save money without compromising on the overall experience. By simply comparing prices with other platforms, I consistently found Klook to be the most affordable option.

Reliable Customer Support:

Throughout my interactions with Klook, I was impressed by their reliable customer support. They provided multiple channels for assistance, including a comprehensive FAQ section, live chat, and email support. I found their customer service representatives to be patient, friendly, and prompt in addressing any queries or concerns I had, and yes, I had a few date changes needed after I had booked our tickets and the customer service was great!

Room for improvement:

Reading my klook review may seem a little biased as it is all positive, but I am writing from my own experience with klook and well... I haven't had any issues with them. Now there is always room for any business to improve so I would have to say that if you are looking at travelling somewhere less touristy, like Samoa or Tonga, you wont find anything on klook. So hopefully as klook continues to grow, they will add more destinations to there list.

Conclusion:

Booking theme park and attraction tickets through Klook proved to be an absolute game-changer for my trip to Japan. The platform's user-friendly interface, English language support, prompt confirmation and e-ticket delivery, competitive pricing, and reliable customer support deserve high praise.

Klook not only made the booking process effortless but also ensured that I could fully immerse myself in the wonders of Japan without any unnecessary stress or language barriers. Whether you're a solo traveler or planning a family vacation, I highly recommend using Klook to enhance your travel experiences.
